VISIT CANADA
Visitors from certain countries require a temporary resident visa (TRV) to enter Canada. A Canadian visitor visa is a document that allows you admission into Canada temporarily as a tourist or on an exploratory visit.
There are two types of visas; a single-entry visa allows for single entry to Canada and the foreign national will need to re-apply to come to Canada again. And the multiple-entry visa allows a foreign national to enter Canada multiple times as long as the visa is still valid.
Foreign nationals on this visa are permitted to stay for up to six months or the duration of stay indicated on their travel passport by a CBSA officer.
Certain foreign nationals coming to Canada by air or transiting through Canada may need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
